Stay in one of the 3 guest rooms, nestled between sea and mountains, in a peaceful, relaxing setting. Enjoy unlimited panoramic views of the beach, harbor, village, valley and the famous rocky peaks at the heart of the island. As a tenant, you'll have free access to our communal areas, including a magnificent garden, a large terrace with tables and chairs, a library corner, as well as a swimming pool and Jacuzzi for your relaxation.

THE ROOM:
This is a comfortable room for 2, with double bed, desk and fan. Ideal for a romantic getaway with your other half.
The en-suite bathroom has a hot-water shower, washbasin and toilet.
The room has no kitchen, but the rate includes half-board (breakfast and dinner). You can enjoy seasonal Marquesan specialties in the restaurant on the terrace level.
UA POU Land of adventure:
Wonderful adventures await you, and your host will be happy to organize a tailor-made program of activities for you. Go hiking with a guide to explore routes such as La Traversière, Pic de Poumaka, or the Boucle de Hakamoui. Opt for a half- or full-day 4x4 safari tour and discover the Hohoi Valley with its Mauia archaeological site and the beach of flowering stones. Explore Hakahetau, its landscapes, the Bay of Sharks, and make a refreshing stop at the Cascade. Don't miss the Valley of the Chiefs in Hakamou'i Bay.
Visit the charming villages of Haakuti and Hakamaii, meet the locals, admire the different viewpoints, and enjoy local specialties at Ti'Piero's in Hakahetau. For an adventure at your own pace, rent an electric bike for a half or full day and explore the surrounding area.
Your host will be able to advise you and create the ideal itinerary to suit your desires!
BAR-LOUNGE, SWIMMING POOL AND JACUZZI:
A bar is at your disposal, where you can order and enjoy your favorite drinks. Meet up with friends or family in the Lounge for an aperitif at the end of the day, or simply relax with a book from our library.
The swimming pool and Jacuzzi are freely accessible and can be shared with other GuestHouse guests. Located on the terrace, they offer breathtaking views of the island's peaks. After a day's sightseeing, the pool is the perfect place to cool off, while the Jacuzzi offers well-deserved relaxation after a hike or bike ride.
HOW TO GET TO UA POU :
By air from Tahiti, the inter-island airline Air Tahiti serves the destination by Twin Otter after a stopover in Nuku Hiva or Hiva Oa to change planes.
OR
By sea, taking a cab from Nuku Hiva airport, Nuku-a-Taha to Taiohae Bay, from where shuttles in bonitiers or speedboats provide the sea link between Nuku Hiva and Ua Pou. Allow 1h30 for the cab and 1h40 for the sea. We can provide you with contacts for cabs and bonito captains, so that you can make the best possible arrangements.
It is now also possible to take the KAOHA TINI administrative shuttle, but beware: some rotations take you through Ua Huka and are much longer.
Once in Ua Pou, your host will take care of your transfer to your Fare, depending on whether you arrive by air or sea.
